Wrist Case 12 History/Physical Exam

The most common mechanism is a fall-on-the-outstretched-hand (FOOSH). Patients typically have swelling and tenderness and ecchymosis in the area.  As in any wrist injury, evaluate radial pulse, capillary refill, and distal nerve function.
