This patient had L hip pain after falling. This is the negative hip X ray.

CT was performed for persistent pain after the negative x ray and hads fractures of the ilium, anterior acetabular wall, and inferior pubic ramus.



Below is another example of the initial x-rays of a patient who suffered a fall and was unable to walk.

CT later confirmed fractures involving the left acetabulum and ilium, and bilateral pubic rami.
